2.24.09 - Daytrotter Returns to Studio Paradiso We welcomed Daytrotter back into the studio for another week of madness and great music. Daytrotter took advantage of the the wealth of bands in town for the Noise Pop festival. We recorded 4 songs from 19 bands in 4 days! The schedule included Bob Mould, Deerhoof, The Oh Sees, Martha Wainwright, Les Savy Fav, Clues, Why?, Josh Ritter, Adam Stephens and more. We will add links to the sessions on the Artists page as Daytrotter posts these, but you just might want to start with this one.

1.20.09 - Congratulations to Fleet Foxes who made their television debut on Saturday Night Live this weekend. Just a year ago Fleet Foxes were a brand new band with a growing buzz. Their first performance out of their home state was at Studio Paradiso to record a session for Daytrotter. They had driven through the night straight to the studio. We'd heard about the band, but we hadn't really heard the band, this was before the Sun Giant ep was even released. They loaded in, we setup, the lights were dimmed and a little bit of magic happened . Lucky for you, Daytrotter likes to share. You can hear it here.
